Savash Alic is a SharePoint evangelist and a trusted advisor, passionate about everything SharePoint. He is an Engineer with MBA on eBusiness. He is working in Enterprise Sales at MS Canada for 7 years.

Reza Alirezaei author, MVP, MCP, MCPD, MCITP & MCTS for SharePoint 2010,is a SharePoint solution architect focused on designing custom applications with SharePoint, Office, and Microsoft Business Intelligence products and technologies. Jason Bero is a senior consultant at Softchoice Corporation and has been providing services surrounding strategic planning for large-scale global collaboration environments for more than 15 years. Jason has spoken at several conferences and user groups across North America and is an active member of the Microsoft SharePoint and Office365 community.

Damir is a Senior Platform Advisor with Microsoft Canada based in Mississauga, Ontario. He is passionate about technology and how it can help to change the world. Darrin Bishop is a speaker, author and developer focusing on Microsoft SharePoint Technologies since the release of SharePoint Portal Server 2001. As SharePoint Solution Architect at Navantis Inc. Works with corporate IT guiding then in the delivery of their large SharePoint WCM and ECM project. Bill brings his more than 20 years of IT experience in network, solution ion architecture and application development with Microsoft Technologies. As an early member in the Microsoft Certified Professional program in 1992, he is currently an MCTS in SharePoint development and administration. Bill Brockbank is a SharePoint Server MVP, a contributing member both the Toronto and Mississauga SharePoint Users Groups, and co-chair of the Toronto SharePoint Camp.

Danny Boulanger has over twenty five (25) years of experience in the field of unstructured information and content management. He was one of the innovators in the field of unstructured information using Enterprise Content Management platforms such as Documentum, LiveLink, Hummingbird and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server.

From 1990 to 1995, Mr. Boulanger held the position of Director of Advanced Solutions at Xerox and was also responsible for marketing SGML, Workflow (InConcert), Electronic Document Management (Documentum) and oversaw several major integration projects.

In 1995 he found InterDoc, a firm specialized in Enterprise Content Management, which included Electronic Document Management, Archiving and Records Management, Web Content Management, Enterprise Portals, Imaging and Workflow. Under his Direction InterDoc established itself as one of the largest organizations specialized in understanding, modeling and implementing Enterprise Content Management systems. In 1996 he founded the Document Computing Institute, which in 2001 was recognized alongside the likes of Mellon University, New York University and the University of Bremen as being amongst the premier learning centers in the world in the field of unstructured information. Danny Boulanger was one of the principal instructors.

In 2007 he founded Alcero, a product company focused on developing a SharePoint Solution Platform to help organizations improve their business process and information management. Under the leadership of Danny Boulanger, Alcero product sales are growing at a rate of 200% per year and have also established a reseller network and have secured customers in Europe, Latin America, USA and Canada.

Ryan Bruins is the Sr. Manager of Portal Services at Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada, the exclusive Canadian distributor of Genuine Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, Parts, Accessories, and Motorclothes. Ryan has been with Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada for 14 years in a broad range of IT roles related to the Retailer Extranet since its inception in 1998. In 2008, he added a SharePoint Intranet and a Microsoft Project Server to his portfolio.

Currently Ryan is responsible for the development, maintenance and support of a bilingual Extranet used by all Harley-Davidson Retailers across Canada, an Intranet Portal used by associates based in Toronto, Vancouver and in the field, and a Microsoft Project Server used to manage resources for all major corporate initiatives. Recently, Ryan lead an upgrade of the Intranet to SharePoint 2010 which included extensive rebranding, a reimagined homepage, and a focused governance strategy that has brought to life all the communication, collaboration, and document management functionality made possible by SharePoint 2010. Ryan’s team is now in the midst of a multi-year initiative to phase-out the in-house developed legacy Retailer Extranet with a SharePoint 2010 MVC/WCF solution.

Jeff Chia has spent the last 20+ years working in leading edge technology. From developing embedded devices for medical and military detection systems, migrating from mainframes to PCs, architecting enhancements for telco call centers to working with government and banks leveraging the latest software on PCs and mobile devices, Jeff enjoys pushing the limits of technology to get a competitive advantage.

He is currently the Office365 Technology lead for Microsoft Canada helping customers understand cloud computing, to leverage its elasticity, and agility. More importantly in adopting and migrating to the cloud instant-on paradigm enabling Unified Communications with Sharepoint Online Exchange Online, and Lync Online to deliver capabilities faster than they ever could with their existing pace of technology evolution.

Jason Chiu is a Field Systems Engineer for F5 Networks in Toronto, where he provides technical pre-sales support to F5 account managers. With over 15 years in IT, Jason has a general background in layer 2-7 networking, security and remote access solutions, wireless LAN technologies, course development, and training delivery. Prior employers include Alteon Web Systems, Nortel Networks, Rogers Communications, and Ruckus Wireless.

Penelope Coventry (MVP SharePoint Server) is an author and independent consultant based in the U. K. with more than 30 years of industry experience. She focuses on the design, implementation and development of SharePoint–based solutions. She has worked with SharePoint since 2001 and, has lead teams, worked on User Adoption and Business Engagement work streams. Penny has authored/co-authored over 10 books, including SharePoint Server 2010 Administrator's Companion, SharePoint Foundation Inside Out, and SharePoint Designer 2010 Step by Step. Penny has spoken at a number of conferences including TechEd, SharePoint Best Practices Conferences and at UK’s SharePoint User Group meetings.

Ivor has been working with SharePoint for about 10 years now since Windows SharePoint Services 1 and Microsoft Project Server 2003. He introduced Project Server and SharePoint to the LCBO back in 2004. He was instrumental in the introduction of BrainStorm QuickHelp and Quick Start Cards to the LCBO during their Office 2007 upgrade.

He has volunteered his SharePoint knowledge and services to non-profit organizations and small startups giving them the benefit of his many years in IT. He is always looking at how new and current technology can be applied to resolve business problems and processes. Recently he has become very active in Social Media with LinkedIn, FaceBook, Twitter and now Pinterest. He is always looking to expand his network and share his knowledge with others.

Lara Dodo is a regional vice-president for Robert Half International. Her area of responsibility currently includes managing the daily operations of Robert Half Technology & The Creative Group in Montreal, Ottawa, Winnipeg and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Lara has spent more than twelve years of her professional life in the recruitment industry and has experienced all phases of the job market cycle first-hand.

I am Senior Architect as Waggener Edstrom and have been working with SharePoint almost exclusively for over 9 years now. When I am not doing SharePoint I like to go white water kayaking and enjoy the beach.

Peder founded Unilytics in 2001 to provide web analytics products and services. In the past few years, Unilytics has matured into a full service Online Marketing Optimization firm.

He has managed the creation of Mergence® which enhances web analytics reporting for SharePoint customers; led the development of proprietary consulting methodologies for assessing which KPIs are important and determining how to measure them; and RETAIN®, Unilytics' web analytics training methodology which reverses the order of implementations by starting with end-user training for better requirements insight.

Peder has shown that significant gains and ROI can result from: better integration with other marketing tools such as e-mail, CRM and customer silos; detailed segmentation to better understand visitor behavior and needs; and automated dashboards for improved actionable reporting.

Danielle Horwath is a Project Management Specialist for GP Strategies’ Project Management Office. She has nearly fifteen years of experience managing technology and business process projects for both the public and private sectors. Past successful projects include SharePoint implementations, business re-engineering initiatives, and disaster recovery exercises. Danielle was recently the project manager for the successful deployment of a global SharePoint 2010-based portal solution for one of the largest insurance carriers in the world. She obtained her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2007 and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in business management from the University of Phoenix and a master’s degree in business administration from Loyola University of Maryland.

Mike Fitzmaurice is the Vice President of Product Technology for Nintex, a global company committed to delivering out-of-box productivity solutions built for and with SharePoint Technology, and is responsible for product direction, evangelism, technical marketing, and technical business strategy. Prior to joining Nintex Mike spent more than 10 years at Microsoft, the majority of that time working on Windows® SharePoint® Services and Microsoft® Office SharePoint® Server in roles including developer evangelism, competitive strategy, enterprise consulting, user education, product marketing, and technical event planning. Previous to that Fitzmaurice served as Director of Research and Development at Advanced Paradigms Inc., a Washington, D.C.-based Microsoft Solution Provider Partner, as well as a five-year tenure as IT Director of the National Association of Broadcasters.

Sam Fong is a Principal Technology Specialist with Microsoft Canada for Office 365. He leads the technical pre-sales efforts and strategy for the Central Canadian SMS&P business helping customers understand the architectural benefits and intricacies of cloud computing. With over 10 years in the industry, Sam has a broad background from open source software development to architecting solutions for Fortune 500 customers at a SaaS company. Sam holds a B.Math, Honours Computers Science from the University of Waterloo.

Nimrod Geva has been working with SharePoint since 2001. As KWizCom's Product Group Manager Nimrod manages the roadmap for KWizCom products i.e. find SharePoint gaps and design SharePoint add-ons and their features set.

Ruven Gotz is a Senior Consultant & SharePoint MVP with Navantis, a Microsoft Gold Partner based in Toronto, Canada. With over 20 years of IT industry experience, Ruven has spent the past seven years delivering award-winning SharePoint solutions for a wide range of clients.

Peter Grigoriou is a Principal Consultant at imason, a company he joined over 7 years ago. Jason Himmelstein, MCTS, MCITP, is the SharePoint Practice Director for Sentri, Inc. and has been working with Microsoft Server technologies since 1998 when he was supporting Motorola in Austin, TX. He went to work for the University of Texas for five years where he developed expertise in Active Directory and Exchange. He left UT to go on the road doing work for Dell in a partnership with Microsoft doing architecture, design and implementation of Active Directory and Exchange. He started working with SharePoint in 2007 as an Enterprise Architect for Raytheon Company. Today he leads a team of dynamic SharePoint consultants for Sentri, a four-time Microsoft Partner of the Year. Outside of this crazy working world he is a happily married father of two boys and a die-hard Texas Longhorns and San Antonio Spurs fan.

Susan Hanley, President of Susan Hanley LLC, is a recognized expert in the design, development and implementation of successful portal solutions, with a specialization in Microsoft SharePoint. Heather Harmse, is the Employee Portal Manager for Vancity, Canada’s largest credit union. Heather has worked at Vancity for 5 years and has over ten years experience developing dynamic and engaging intranets.

Jeff C. Kelly is a Microsoft Certified Professional (SharePoint Server 2010) who has been working with Microsoft portal technologies since Site Server 3.0 back in the 20th century. He is currently Practice Lead for Intranets and Business Productivity at non-linear creations, a Microsoft Gold Partner with offices in Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa and New York. Noorez Khamis is a Microsoft recognized MVP in SharePoint Technologies. Mark McGovern is a Product Manger at Axceler and works closely with the Product and Sales Engineering teams. Born and raised in South Africa during the 70's I got my start in computers when a game on my Sinclair ZX Spectrum crashed, revealing it's BASIC source code. The ZX had a whopping 48K of memory which was considered to be a lot in the Commodore Vic20 era, but more importantly, it had BASIC built into the soft touch keyboard. Teaching myself to program, I coded my first commercial program at age 15.

After graduating high school at 17, I joined the South African Air Force, graduating the Academy and becoming a Pilot with the rank of First Lieutenant by age 20. After serving my country for six years, I made my way back into computer software.

Continuing my education, I graduated Suma Cum Laude from the Computer Training Institute before joining First National Bank where my work won the Smithsonian Award for Technological Innovation in the field of Banking and Insurance. Soon I met Will Coleman from Amdahl SA, who introduced me to a little known programming language named Huron/ObjectStar. As fate would have it, this unknown language and Y2K brought me to the USA in 1998.

I got involved with SharePoint after playing around with the Beta for SharePoint Portal Server 2003. Leaving my career at Rexnord to become a consultant in 2004, I was first awarded the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional Award for SharePoint in 2005, becoming only the 9th MVP for WSS at the time. I fulfilled a life long dream by pledging allegiance to the Flag as a US citizen in 2006. I met the love of my life and became a private consultant in 2008. I was honored to receive my sixth MVP award for SharePoint Server in 2010.
